a full half-inning later... Sportsline still does not know how to sum up that "play"

and frankly, I think I am just as confused as the half drunk monkeys they have over there mashing the keyboard

For all the knocks that Bill Schroeder takes on BF.net, I think he just raised a very good point about Hall in the outfield, trying to make the big play and create outs, rather than just get the ball to the infielders to allow the team to make plays

Great point. Billy really needs to slow down and work on the fundamentals. It seems that he is trying to make things happen in super speed mode. SLOW DOWN BILLY

JET15 what are you going to do with Hall when Braun comes up?

You mean if I was Ned Yost? I'd make him learn how to catch. That seems to be the all position plan for Hall http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I love how Estrada starting walking off the field before the ump even called the third strike. Not sure if the ump appreciated it, though. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif

After seeing Greg Aquino's mental breakdown yesterday, seeing Vargas bear down during this game is that much more impressive.

I just started watching this game and I gotta say that Vargas' 11 Strikeouts is great, but then I see we have 3 errors and I don't even want to know.

11 K's for Claudio, nice...

Remember his stats are a little out of whack from mop-up against the Cubs a couple of weeks back.

As maddening as the 5th inning sequence was, if you have to make 3 errors in a game, that is almost exactly how you want to make them. Vargas didn't have to throw any extra pitches because of them and it only led to one run.

I like this Kevin Mench much more than 2006 Kevin Mench. lol
