i am so tired of watching this brewers offense...

 

i went to look up some of the team offensive stats...

28th in average, 25th in OBP, 21st in slugging, 26th in hits, 20th in walks, 17th in homers, and 10th in strikeouts

 

these guys should be so much more produtive than that

That is the luck side of baseball right there. Brewers have hit some hard balls that the Cards got to, but right there two grounders for the Cards turn into singles and now they have two on for Pujols

He also has 7 K's, though, and it seems like he's gone deep into almost every count. Looking at Gameday it also looks like the ump's strike zone is pretty tight for that game...a lot of balls being called just above the knees.
