Billy knows how to play baseball. He knows he'll have another chance for a walkoff. You think he didn't do that GIDP on purpose?

I sure wouldn't call it unprofessional. It's no worse than the bat flip Bill Hall could have done had he not thrown away an AB with the bases loaded. With less than two outs and the bases loaded, swing for the fences. A K sure beats a DP.

 

Zambrano is just a special pitcher.

A home game where we're down two runs and it's getting late?

 

We've got them right where we want them. If we had the lead, I'd be concerned.

Great. We scrap to manage 1 run and get nobody with the bases loaded, and they get that run back with 1 swing. Our bullpen sucks.

Well, if we lose this one, it's all on the 6th inning. Can't load the bases with nobody out and get nothing. Gotta execute in that situation.

in Capellan's defense I think he's pitched a lot more innings than we or he thought he'd be pitching lately... the break will be nice for him...

this may be a stupid question, as we go down 6-1... but is there any chance in hades that Sabathia is available for a trade since the Indians are out of it?

 

i have no idea how we would get him, but he is on fire...

 

please advise...
