Enough messing around, time to mock this chicken leg and move on to SD. Hopefully they will be facing some good pitching, because they sure can't do anything against below average hurlers right now.

I remember reading an SI baseball preview article from the dark days of the late '90s-early '00s (example: Royce Clayton was starting at SS). It said something along the lines of there are almost no Brewers who would start on any other team.

 

I think that statement applies pretty well to the Nationals here.

To add, three of those Ks did come from Dave Bush with two outs (no bunt available), Rickie Weeks (K machine - nice homer, though) and Craig Counsell (just plain sucks).
