Who would you rather have? lol. I mean yeah its depressing, but its better then seeing Gagne and Riske blow it. Right?... I think....

Ugh...and that's why Ryan Braun is still a pretty bad outfielder. He needs to take a better route on that.

 

Yeah that was pretty horrid. If he moves back he can cut that off before it gets to the wall.

I wouldn't say he is a bad outfielder just because he took a bad route to the ball. I think he has done very well out there this year.
I agree. He's definitely exceeded my expectations for his first go around out there. But on that particular play, he was real bad

Ben didn't have his best stuff tonight, but we're still in the game and this is Citizen's Bank Park, after all.

You know the theory about taking a big defensive play and carrying it over in the batter's box the next half inning? Isn't Hall not booting that play the Brewer equivalent of a big defensive play? I smell a two hit rally.

Well, I think it's the offense's turn to bail out a subpar performance by the starting pitcher. It's been awhile.

You would think at this ballpark we could do it.

 

But... I dont know anymore.

Is it a rule that Villanueva must only pitch in games the Brewers are trailing?

 

Not saying I disagree with him coming in here, but he's rarely used to protect a lead and that bothers me.

Yeah, it's kind of dumb that Villa gets stuck pitching in games the Brewers trail in, when guys like Gagne keep getting handed the ball in the 8th inning with a lead. I guess the point is to keep the deficit where it's at, rather than giving up more runs, which I can't really disagree with.

Mike Lamb here Ned seriously?? Has anyone heard Ned say anything at all about why he hasn't used Gamel??? To me, this is a spot you go with him. There's two outs, what is the worst that could happen??
