I was going to say the same thing. It was a low pitch, maybe off the plate, and Edmonds just poked it into left. People act like every hit by an opponent is an abject failure by our pitcher and every out by our hitters is an epic fail. Sometimes the other guys just do a good job.

 

But hey, he didn't score, so everything is A-OK!

And it was 98 on the gun

If you are talking about the one(s) to Fielder, no. They were really nasty curveballs that had him all screwed up.
