Yount has got to start speaking up and telling Yost when he's making stupid decisions. Down to the last out and you don't put Weeks or Clark in to pinch hit for Moeller? Leaving pitchers in when it's obvious they have nothing.

Amazing how the Brewers can find interesting ways to ruin a excellent start by Sheets. This loss is more disappointing than yesterdays. Feels like we gave them this one.

Anyone else have a bad feeling about the rest of this series? Bush has been less than sharp since his first start and Davis has turned to crap recently. I don't feel comfortable with either of those guys going against the Reds offense when we need to win both games just to get a split.

 

This series kinda reminds me of that four game series in Pittsburgh a couple years ago where we got swept. I remember thinking about that series:

"We should be able to win three outta four here."

 

Then it was, "well at least win two out of the last three."

 

Followed by "we really have to win the last two to gain a split."

 

Then, "well at least win one out of four for crying out loud!" and "we just got swept by the Pirates?!"

 

Not trying to jump on the pessemist bandwagon, but I could easily see us losing the next two and then....well we'll cross that bridge if it gets to that point.

I have a bad feeling about the rest of the series because right now I feel like all this team is capable of is scoring 10 runs when they need 12 and scoring one run when they need three. So yeah, I have a bad feeling.
