A lot of power in that Marlins lineup, even if they've been struggling lately. Hopefully Manny can keep it in the park tonight.

Hard finding a picture of Koronka in a Marlins uniform -- he's making his first start since 2007 as a replacement for Anibal Sanchez. He used to be with the Rangers, so this is also his first start in the National League if I'm not mistaken. Kendall is the only Brewer with any previous ABs against him.

 

Hopefully the Brewers can figure him out and hit him hard early...I guess with this lineup it's better to face an unknown lefty than an unknown righty.

Hopefully he'll be helped a bit by Florida's tendency to strike out.

It'd be great if Manny could get his WHIP to start heading towards 1 instead of 2.

I have less faith in Manny then any other pitcher in the starting rotation, and that includes Suppan. It's sad, but Manny just doesn't have the mental makeup to be in the majors right now.

I'm actively trying to calculate how much I'll have to study to do well enough on my final to maintain my grade.

 

Bummer that Kendall couldn't tie it up, but hopefully the long lay-off hasn't messed with Manny's groove that he was starting to find.
