Right before the pitch, I asked my wife what the outcome would be, walk in a run or grand slam? She picked walk in a run and I picked grand slam. I guess I won.

Since this has turned into a mini-vent thread, I'll throw Parra under the bus. If he wasn't such a headcase we wouldn't be in this starting pitching mess. He has turned into my least favorite Brewer.

Whats funny is when I look at our pitching staff I expect this to happen whenever Yo doesn't start.

 

Melvin's inability to put together a decent pitching staff will cost us the playoffs this year.

I am jonesing for a vent thread. Barring a miraculous comeback, this will count for just one loss. I would also like to see DM make some moves. A starting pitcher and a lead-off hitting right fielder would be nice. I don't know how much we can afford to give up though.

The issue we have with putting together a starting rotation is Suppan's contract. We should be able to pay 5 Jeff Suppan's with the money he makes.

There is just too much uncertainty with the 4 starters not named Gallardo. They could be pretty good or really, really bad. Its a toss up. I wish we just had a solid 2 or even a 3 behind Yo.
