Sickels on Gallardo

I think a gradual decline makes some sense. Gallardo isn't a power pitcher really. Not a soft tosser but not really a power pitcher.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

Basically, the Brewers will get his best years when he's still cheap, and they can let somebody else pay top-dollar for his decline. That seems to be a pretty typical progression for pitchers.

Impressive to see Gallardo so far ahead in that vote.
I'm surprised that Gallardo is basically doubling up Garza, though Garza did spend some time on the DL with an arm problem a couple years ago, I think.

The beauty is in the bat. I say we make Gallardo our #2 hitter when he's in the lineup. Let's be honest, it pays to put the four best bats in the lineup at the top.

Gallardo was outhit by Kendall last year. Trust me on this, I won beer and it was delicious.

To be completely fair and objective, if it weren't for the short porch in Houston, Gallardo would have more long balls over his last 2 full seasons than Kendall.

It's disturbing that Gallardo isn't even that much worse than Kendall at the dish. Have fun Dayton!
