Thank you, Cubbies!

Oh wait, guess not -- no team looks as dead and whipped as that Cub team right now. Currently 12-0 Reds with a nine-run 7th, and the Reds announcers are commenting that they were handed this four-game trip to Wrigley at the perfect time.

At least the Crew and Cincinnati still meet 14 times yet, I believe.

Amazingly it took until the 9th batter of the inning before the Reds actually got a hit in that 7th inning.

Edit:

The Reds 7th Inning;

BB, BB, E-4, K, BB, BB, P-6, PB, IBB, 1B, 2B, BB, 2B, F-9

3 hits, 9 runs. Brutal.

Lets go Narvdog! Make it happen. Victory is yours for the taking.

I wonder if Jamie Garcia is related to "super chef" Jerry Garcia.

Lineups are posted. Rasmus-Pujols-Holliday is an incredibly scary 2-3-4 to me.

Wolf surprised me last night, so here's to hoping Narveson pitches well and further complicates the rotation zim-zam. I'm still not confident that Macha will make a good decision, but at least a difficult decision means everyone's playing well.

I understand the idea that at least a few Brewers games should be available over-the-air, but at some point there needs to be a provision written into the contract that the OTA provider simply simulcasts a standard def version of a higher-quality FSN broadcast which would continue to be he primary vehicle by which most fans would watch. Or, ideally, broadcasts in HD. Watching WMLW via DirecTV isn't the equivalent of poking my eyes out with wooden skewers, but it's awfully close.

Heads up, Brewers, but WMLW isn't doing you a favor. You're doing them a favor, and at no small inconvenice to the vast majority of your viewers.

Well...I didn't think Parra vs. Garcia on ESPN had any hope last month, and was proven wrong. Come on, Narvdog and co.
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I was, of course, referring to the Minnesota start, not the Seattle start which somehow slipped my mind. I guess the Mariners are just forgettable.

That is quite the gritty stache Brendan Ryan has.

Brendan Ryan looks like Freddie Mercury. BA talking about how "the Cardinals think he'll hit." He's 28 years old and hasn't hit yet...
