I think a lot of people are selling the Rangers and Giants short in these series. The Rangers in particular have a good chance of winning their series if they can get to Cliff Lee in Game 3 tied 1-1. Win the Lee start, and you're up 2-1 heading into a Game 4 which is being started by a shaky A.J. Burnett in front of a hostile Yankee Stadium crowd the second things start to go bad for him. Their tendency to run also works in their favor, as Posada couldn't throw them out even if they pitched out every time.

2 things stand out to me in this game. First, CJ Wilson's value goes up pitch by pitch. He's looking great against an "intimidating" Yankee lineup. Second, who doesn't miss Mike Maddux?

Nice to see the Rangers doing well. They might actually put up a fight like the Indians did a few years ago.

Wah waaah, CC: 93 pitches to get through 4 IP with 5 ER. Makes me feel better about the uncommonly deep and dark hole the UW volleyball team has dug itself into.

The fans already knew what was going to happen before it actually did. It's just too predictable. Nolan Ryan looks so defeated.

Talk about ambushing the first pitch. They would be lucky to get out of the inning without giving up the lead.

I hate the Yankees but sometimes it is fun to watch a team completely disintegrate. I would have liked to see the Rangers win a few, but they have no chance against a team with nearly quadruple their payroll and about 100 times the playoff experience.

The Rangers dominated the LCS for 7 innings. Then the Yankees rolled over the Rangers. I'm calling the series over right now. Yankees in 4--Rangers are done.

I don't think this game is over. Not yet anyway.

That was a costly pick off. That's an example of something that can't happen in the playoffs. Especially is that situation.

Words cannot describe how much I hate baseball's economic system.

But it's fun to watch teams like the Rangers pretend like they have a chance. The Yankees took the unfairness of the system to a whole new level after 2008, and we will be watching this happen year after year because of it.

I think Nolan Ryan's face sums up how all Rangers fans and Yankees haters felt watching that meltdown last night. W was also not happy as you can see.
