I will be in Madison at our yearly family baseball party. Not the BF.net one unfortunately but still a baseball party.

I'm sad to report that I will not be in attendance. I got up really early yesterday (3:00am) and have not been able to sleep since that awakening. There's no way I could drive right now without killimg myself and/or others.

We had eleven turn out for a fun evening of food, drink and talk. The Great Dane set us up for a table of 12, which allowed for an empty chair for jjkoestler, Nottso, or anyone who wished they could be here. Thanks to everyone who came, with a special hat tip to jjkoestler and Invader3K for getting us to think about a 2011 meeting, and for making it happen.

I'm going to probably re-institute our annual "fanfest". At the beginning, it was a Snappers game on a Saturday followed by a Brewers game on a Sunday. That fell apart when the class A team moved to WV, but now that it's closer to home in Appleton, maybe we'll go that route again. I'll have to check into some dates and prices and see what we can do.

I'm not sure how I would go as all three of Sabathia, Fielder, and Ortiz. That would be an overly complicated costume that I'm not interested in making.

Brian, the idea of a "fanfest" sounds awesome, and doing something with the Timber Rattlers seems like a no brainer to me.
