2011-04-09 Cubs at Brewers - [Brewers win, 6-0 -- Narveson Post-Game Audio]

[davego]

Would have been nice NOT to bunt w Chris. Opening first base took the bat out of Rickie's hand.

[ilovebeer]

Cappy 6 innings 7 hits 4 earned runs 1 walk and 8 strikouts, Bryann gave us ealier with men on base for the dbacks and strik out and Joe Inglett just pinch hit the Houston and first pitch out.

[GormanHarvey]

Kotsay had a nice catch??! At least that's what Provus said. Narvy at 96...one more inning??

[Mays Hayes]

What? No backhanded compliments for Kotsay on the catch? What's going on with this thread?

Edit: nevermind!

If that was Narvi's last inning he pitched great this evening,

[TheCrew]

Narveson is everything I always wanted in Parra

[Funketown]

tony plush is going to go to a whole new level if he comes through with the bases loaded here...

Tony Plush thought it would be better to save his awesomeness for a closer game.

Narvi, thanks for the great game this evening.

[ilovebeer]

I bet the scrubbies fans are leaving now,

[jjkoestler]

Smirajiaiii;Ia on the bump for the Cubs

[ELCABALLO45]

That's why you have a glove Castro

[ReverendBrewmeister]

Hey, stealing bases in the 8th inning while up 5-0 is against the unwritten rules!!!

[endaround]

Leaving him in down 5-0 in the 8th? Really?

[rousieboy]

I think I would rather have Kotsay at shortstop at this point...that is how down I am on YB.

[jjkoestler]

Dear GoGo,

That is how you take pitches.

Best,

Tony Plush aka new CFer

[ilovebeer]

3 more outs until we beat the scrubs.

[hawing]

Those were stirrups on Count Plush!

[ilovebeer]

Why is Estrada pitching the 9th, I thought he was our 5th starter?

[razzzorsharp]

Estrada in, little weird to me.

[bylo tesi me]

I guess they decided to go with a 4 man rotation until the 16th.

[Trowekamp]

Does this mean they expect greinke Back sooner?

[bylo tesi me]

Does this mean they expect greinke Back sooner?

Probably just means they're skipping his next turn and just getting him some work now. Will probably pitch next sat.

[crewcrazy]

Not sure if Estrada pitching tells us anything, really. It's possible he was just scheduled to throw a bullpen session between starts today, anyway.
