They better be thinking about at least platooning Green with McGehee next year.

My guess: McGehee moves to 1B.

Yep, I'm starting to think that too. I wouldn't mind it. McGehee would likely look better defensively at 1B than he does at 3B. Either that or he platoons with Gamel at 1B.
Well, he's been the worst offensive 3rd baseman in the league, how bad would he bad at 1st? Gamel is the heir apparent. Platooning is a possibility, but McGehee would have to seriously turn things around against lefties to justify that.

Ugh at having to have faith in Francisco Cordero.
You mean it's tough to root for him? I can see that, but you should have some faith since he was a good closer for the Brew and has been subsequently.

So we might complain about holes in our lineup but how about having to hope that Corey Patterson can keep the game and your season going? That's just sad.

Man... the Cardinals tv announcers are sure boring. Wow.
They don't have much to interest them when not invoking the unwritten rules of baseball.

Even beyond starting 5 for 8 w/ 2 doubles, the most impressing aspects of Green's performance are he has yet to swing and miss at a pitch and generally refrains from offering at balls. Statistically and scouting-wise, he looks like the real deal right now.
Fixed that for you.

9 in a row against Houston. They must be the new Pirates.

The Brewers' coolstandings.com playoff odds once again have reached a season high, 99.7%. Another Cardinals sweep this week would be inconsequential, while a Brewers sweep would officially wrap up the division.

On team picture day I really think they should give out this picture instead of the standard team picture. I found a high-res photo of the team in their cowboy gear via T-Plush, but figured it was too big to post, so I linked it. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

So awesome! A couple thoughts and questions... Randy Wolf, you are fined $1,000 for not wearing your cowboy hat. Where's Corey Hart? Look at Counsell rocking the yellow button-up. T-Plush, spectacular!

Anyone care to label the photo? There are a handful of Brewers front office staff and coaches I don't recognize.

EDIT: Doh! Found Corey rocking the leather vest standing next to Counsell.

This is incredible, if only in its participation level. I'll be surprised if the photo isn't labeled soon enough, somewhere on the internets.

Some of the guys look very much at home in the western gear (like Luc and Casey). Others do not (ahem, Craig).

I'm having trouble conclusively identifying Mark Kotsay.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Kotsay is next to Cali, who is next to Corey, who are on the left of Craig (when looking at the phoito). Kotsay's pose is epic. I'm not sure who to laugh at

more. Yo has the giant sombrero. Jon Luc is

wearing clothes from his actual wardrobe. Casey also has an epic pose.

Prince's belt buckle is so large it goes half way across his stomach.

This is pure gold.
