As bad as things are right now for the Brewers, the Braves are in much bigger trouble with the injuries to their pitching staff.

well for you guys interested cards are on their way to sweeping the braves and making that 6 straight.
not interested in what the cardinals are doing. avoid the sweep today, and go .500 the rest of the way. The cardinals would have to finish 14-2 to catch the brewers. If the brewers lose today, the cards still have to go 13-3 (keeping that .500 record the rest of the way). And the cardinals still have to go through the phillies pitching gauntlet like the crew just did. It's the brewers division to lose, not the cardinals to take...don't need to worry about them.

The best thing might be for the Cards to continue winning and overtake the Braves but not the Brewers.

being an atlanta resident, that would ruin my NLDS plans. But hey, it involves the brewers in the playoffs and not playing the phillies. so works for me i guess.

I think Morgan's at-bats would be extremely interesting if that happened.

The entire series for that matter would be intense.

They sure do shoot themselves in the foot a lot. Can't play fundamentally sound baseball and make it 2-0, then come back the next inning and give up 2 home runs and the lead.
