why even swing at the first pitch? You're going to hit a 7 run hr? Work the frickin count. Try to get into their pen, try to wear it down some for tomorrow.

Everyone's talking about a small strike zone. I think it's been a very good zone. All the umps call balls an inch or two off a plate strikes when they're really balls. West isn't calling balls off the plate strikes--just how he's supposed to.

"He's still a very good starting pitcher, just got the worst possible umpire behind the plate tonight for his game."

This is 3 in a row for Marcum now....can't blame it on the umpire.

Seemed like they disagreed what pitch to throw and Marcum was pissed that he crushed the pitch that Lucroy called.

Only thing is Lucroy didn't call the pitch to be right down the middle.

And the pitch wasn't right down the middle so that works.

That pitch was as down the middle, belt high as you can get. Luc wanted an inside fastball on 1-2 and Macum left it out over the plate. As the saying goes if you go inside you have to miss in. Bad pitch by a pitcher how wasn't making many good ones tonight.

I feel like this team struggles to come back because they are impatient and feed off of emotion too much. However, it also won this team 96 games in the regular season.

The bi-polar Brewers Nation is going to lose it's mind the next 24 hours or so and fret about Wolf pitching tomorrow. Then Wolf will come out and pitch a gem like so many times this year. Then this hyperventilating will look silky (once again).

You know, people have a right to vent a bit minutes after this turned into a 7-1 game. If they don't come back tonight, they really need to hammer Saunders tomorrow. Home or not, I don't want to face Kennedy when all the pressure is on the Brewers. You think you've seen lack of patience at the plate tonight, just wait until game 5.

Are you judging from the actual ball or the fox trax thing? I think the tracking thing makes them look worse than they actually are.

April - August: "What a pickup Marcum has been! He's fantastic! I hope Melvin can get him signed to extension!"

September: "Hmm. Marcum has been struggling. Hopefully he'll get back on track for the playoffs."

October 4: "Marcum is garbage. He's like a poor man's Eddie Harris with frayed yarn for tendons."

Did anyone really think that the Brewers were going into Arziona and sweep this team. we got the blow out out of the way and get together for game 4 and the win.

the venting is warranted. if we lost this game 4-2, 5-3, something like that... okay no biggie, you win some you lose some. This has just been a catastrophe, and if they lose tomorrow all the pressure in the world will be on them in game 5

I hate Collmenter more than anything that ever existed
wow, how about hitler, racism, rape, child abuse, dante culpepper's roll........but i get your point. he is really bugging me too

Venting is fine but saying stuff like Marcum is a terrible pitcher and is the next Suppan, as well as already calling a loss tomorrow is just dumb.

I like to see Wolf Tomorrow and think he is a veteran who can get the job done Relax brewer nation we all knew their was not going to be a sweep on the road.

Not judging based solely on the pitch tracker. Umps always call the ball an inch or two off the corner as a strike, and it drives me nuts. West isn't giving anything off the corner, which is the way it should be.

The Brewers will win tomorrow. I can live with a blowout tonight.

I didn't BLAME the umpire, he's had the same strike zone forever, it's small. But that doesn't get Marcum off the hook, he didn't pitch well. But 3 bad games doesn't make his Jeff Suppan. Greinke didn't pitch well either in game 2, is he Ricky Bones?

Disappointed for sure. I'm sure the Brewers feel the same way. I'd like to see some good things happen for the Crew yet this game. Get a few runs, make some solid plays, if ya don't come back tonight your guys loosened up their arms and ya come back strong tomorrow and wrap this thing up. I hope.

The biggest thing I am disappointed about is the fact that the Brewers can't hit Collmenter after seeing him twice. The lack of adjustment is frustrating to me.
