Ugh. I am so nervous for this game. Might just be me being a pessimist, but I almost feel like we are underdogs after the last two games and Kennedy going tonight. Thank god its at MP. Come on Brewers, don't build me up just tear me down again. If we lose this I might not watch baseball the rest of the year. At least the Yankees lost.

There is no pitcher I would rather have pitching for the Brewers than Yo tonight and it's not about his stuff. He always seems calm and collected in these (I know, only a couple) types of situations.

Just ran into someone with a Brewers shirt on. In Miami. That is only the second time I have ever seen anyone wearing a Brewers shirt down here. That is definitely a good omen.

It belongs everywhere today.

We're leaving for Milwaukee pretty soon. I'm nervous, but also grateful to have this opportunity today.

Dear Brewers:

You know what's within your reach. You can get there, today. Have fun, and good luck.

Love you,

Go 1-0 today Brewers, that's all we're asking. Just 1-0.

Win it 1-0, win it 20-2 (this would be better), win it with a pie eating contest. I don't care how, just please, please find a way to win.

Beautiful. You were on my personal list of good posters, but you're approaching the top of the list with a bullet. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Dear Yovani: We really need you tonight. Forever's gonna start tonight.

Play hard, Brewers. Be patient at the plate, and make smart decisions in the field. Yovani has been your man since 2004, and he's been my favorite Brewer for about that long as well. May he make the leap today.

This is where you find out what you're made off. Braun, Fielder, Yo, Rickie, Corey, Yuni, Hairston, McGehee, Green, Hawkins, Saito, Narveson, Lucroy, Kottaras, Wolf, Marcum, Greinke, K-Rod, Ax, Gomez, Plush, Counsell, Estrada, Kotsay, Loe. Total team effort this afternoon and evening. Either way, I'll remember you for a long time, but a win today and you could emphasize the latter half of bittersweet. GO CREW!

At first I thought it was based on the "Every now and then I fall apart" part of the song. Let's hope this afternoon is not every now and then.

McGehee's banishment to the bench is pretty much complete. I would never have thought it. I guess his September play was so bad RRR had to do something. Nice that Hairston has stepped up.

Yep, that lineup looks great other than Betancourt, of course. Hairston made it pretty much impossible to bench him after the series he's had.

I'd rather see Hairston hitting 2 with Morgan in the 8 hole personally. Have to get people on base for Braun and Fielder. Given how Morgan has played in this series, I'd have been very tempted to give Gomez another start today. Just a hunch, but he's the type of guy who could come up huge in a situation like this.

Hart

Hairston
Braun
Fielder
Green
Lucroy
Yuni
Morgan
Yo

I would've went with that today with how bad Weeks/Morgan have been. If you really don't want to throw Green in, then move Lucroy to 5 and put Weeks 6.
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

If an AZ pitcher misses inside to Rickie he'll crush it...if they keep pitching him outside effectively he'll struggle with that ankle...but it's not like Green has been getting steady at bats either. I'd stick with Rickie and hope he gets a mistake to hit.

I have never been this excited/nervous for a sporting event in my life.

Same here. I wasn't even this nervous before the Super Bowl last year. I am sitting at work with butterflies waiting for game time. Hopefully they are up big by the time I get out at 5 so I do not have to stop and get a bottle of whisky on the way home to drown my sorrows. With the pitching match up it will morst likley be tied 0-0 still when I get out.

I have a feeling this postseason is going to be the time Yovanni makes his mark on this league. See matt Cain last year for the Giants.
