Yo's pitching like he's afraid to lose while Kennedy is pitching like he has nothing to lose. We need an early run to calm Yo down.

I would guess Gallardo for 5 innings, Greinke for 2, then K-Rod and the Ax Man.

(I hope.)

Nope. If the team dips into the bullpen it should be from the proven quartet of Saito-Hawkins-KRod-Ax.

Pretty sad that that inning started out with a 1 pitch out.
Does anyone know what the WTMJ delay is?

aannnnddd theres weeks swinging on the first pitch for an out.
It was a strike down the middle and he hit it hard. Not sure why you'd want him to just give up on a good pitch to hit.

A little too non-chalant for my taste, but it works.
I think he's battling the sun.
Never thought of that - thanks, dlk9s. Just shows how anxious I am.

I don't think Yo has been that bad at all. At least 3 pitches called balls that would have been a strike 90% of the time all year. The biggest one being on the inside corner to Upton, that would have been strike 3.

I dunno, Kennedy is a good pitcher and we should be getting his pitch count up to get to their bullpen. Just my thought.

I was refering to Goldschmidt not Weeks. I was hoping for a quick one for Yo.

Weeks has been struggling, especially with the outside pitch. He needs to snap out of it, and to do so he's got to swing at good pitches to hit. He had one there, and he hit it hard. just right at a guy unfortunately

at least there were a couple hard hit balls that inning

Weeks & Betancourt each hit the ball at least as well as Roberts did... for the DBacks' only hit so far. I think Yo will settle in, his curve will be very important.

The worst thing is Weeks hits it hard for an out and then Hairston feels like he has to take one right down the middle to let his pitcher rest so he starts down 0-1.
