Take out the Cubs series, who are pretty awful, and the Brewers have looked like absolute garbage this year. I know its early but mental mistakes, bad pitching, poor approaches at the plate, etc. have made them look terrible. Hopefully the turn around begins soon.

My preseason optimism is leaving me in a hurry, but that will happen when you run differential is approaching 2 runs/game. the only thing standing between the Crew and a truly abysmal out-of-the-gate record is the Cubs. Given the big-picture numbers it's actually kind of amazing that teh team will still only be 2-under in the absence of a miracle today.

Except you don't win by beating bad teams. You have to beat the good ones too. And it's not like they've lost close games. They've been spanked while playing bad defense, making dumb mistakes, and taking terrible approaches. Like I said, it's early. I don't care so much that they've lost, it's just how they've looked losing. And they've looked awful.
