2012-04-17 Dodgers (Billingsley) at Brewers (Gallardo), 7:10 PM CDT [Brewers win, 5-4]

[cnycerveceros]

The 8th inning was disheartening. And, seriously BA is not good at judging fly balls.

[Wiscollector]

Ramirez has given up on the 4-3 ground out for the FO-8 or FO-9. Very frustrating, have seen him square up a couple of pitches so far this season.

[markedman5]

Team is finding lots of different ways to lose now. A shame to waste a nice performance from Yo.

Not over yet but it sure doesn't feel like its going to be a win.

[Polish Falcons]

If the Brewers pinch hit for Izturis in the bottom of the 9th (which they should) and they tie the game, then who would play shortstop in extra innings?

I think that would be a reason why they shouldn't pinch hit for him.

[cnycerveceros]

A win in this game would be great. I'm expecting a lackluster 9th. I hate that I expect that.

[Funketown]

Eric Farris is the guy they brought up for SS, but that ain't happening.

[dlk9s]

Well then Hart, Gamel and Lucroy will just have to end it before it gets to Izturis. Edited April 18, 2012 by dlk9s

[cnycerveceros]

Good start.

[Mr QL]

would be really sweet if Gamel ended it here

[dlk9s]

Gomez's steal was closer than Braun's.

And this Ellis dude can throw.

[RobDeer 45]

Gomez you burner you!

[cnycerveceros]

Nice ab from Gamel.

[Bombers]

That was an impressive at bat by gamel ... Swung at only good pitches and draws a walk

[rluzinski]

Nice Gamel!

[pebadger]

I'll be happy if he just extends it.

I really thought GoGo was getting better before he got hurt last year. It looks like he might be on the upswing. Not in a huge way, but he finds ways to contribute in the situations presented.

Nice working the walk for Gamel.

[rluzinski]

Please, no small ball for once.

[jjkoestler]

Jon Luc walkoff please.

[dlk9s]

Time to unleash the Gun Show.

EDIT: Never mind, MLB.com made it look like Kottaras was coming up.

[Wiscollector]

come on Luc!

[Wiscollector]

I don't like the bunt here.

[rluzinski]

2-0. Swing away!

EDIT: Of course not.

[FVBrewerFan]

no, he won't go small ball here.

(Edit) Wow, didn't expect even RRR to bunt here.

[FVBrewerFan]

Fail

[Wiscollector]

PH for Izturis, now I want to see it go to extra innings!
