Maldonado shows Gomez how to bunt there. For a self-proclaimed great bunter, Gomez sure leaves them where guys can thrown out a lot.

I can't believe Gordon kept his foot on the bag. In real time, he totally looked like he was in the air. But hey, great call by the ump.

Anyone who's ever watched Gomez knows he can't bunt. He is a terrible bunter. I cannot believe he ever called himself a good bunter. He's fast, so it can be effective even if he's terrible, but him bunting with guys on base is dumb.

Charlie Steiner does Dodgers radio? Really?

Thanks for sharing those outtakes. Frickin hillarious.

adam, there's a time and a place for a bunt. Given how awful our lineup is, bunts can often be more productive outs than the K's. give away all the outs we want if we win.

Not a big fan of the home plate ump's strike zone tonight, but the field umps have been on their games.

Fair, but bunting in front of Braun is inconceivable.

Agreed, it has it's time and place, I think it's overused by RR, but I get trying to make something work out of what is really a patchwork lineup right now.

But taking the bat out of the one and only elite hitter you have left in the lineup by doing it is never the right time and place for it.

Well Gallardo turned in a nice one after a pretty terrible start, 3 walks and 35 pitches in the first. No walks and 13.8 pitches/inning after
