Wow, Dodger fans throwing opposing HR balls back on the field just like Cub fans. You're so cool to be able to be like Cub fans!

He's heating up...

Nyjer is starting to warm up, as well. .323 BA, .400 OBP since May 19.

Come on guys relax. Have you watched football recently, they are still full of bad calls and now they just take longer and all the excitement of every scoring play is cut in half. Id rather have some bad calls that even out over the long season than 4 hour games

Certainly you're entitled to have that opinion and a lot of people feel that way, but IMO 4 hour game talk is really hyperbole. There is no way that an efficient replay system is going to add more than an average of 5 minutes per game.

Aramis Ramirez smiled. The Mayans must be right.

Nice to see Aramis and Nyjer start to put together some good at-bats.

That's why it's hard to give up on this squad. The talented guys are all still around and starting to play better.

Just never know what can happen in 2 weeks.

Each challenge in an NFL game takes over 5 minutes, remember challenge = commercial break. Plus it ruins the in game excitement because you know whenever a big play happens there is going to be a challenge delay. Not to mention all the auto challenges they have in college football.

Right now it takes over 5 minutes for a HR replay. You can put the word efficient in there but in reality there will never be a system where some ump just looks at a monitor for 10 seconds and then reverses a call.

I'll just say I respectfully disagree with these statements and time estimates. I suppose we should save it for a different thread.

I'm so, so tired, but I want to keep watching the game...

Ditto that, a week of staying up until midnight has worn me down...

I'm going to watch the brewers hit one more time and call it a night.

Can't wait until they get back in my time zone...

I said it last night, but man, Scully and Uke really need to get together for one Dodgers/Brewers game.

I WISH I was in the central time zone right now.

that's a very small sample size. BUT if you want to go to a slightly larger sample size (~95 PA), since April 22nd when he was at .119/.119, Morgan is at .268/.355. The slugging is crappy no matter where you start from....but I think that AVG/OBP is about what we can expect from him here on out. Hopefully he can mix in some doubles.

The things you learn from Vin Scully. Apparently Greinke's parents were both teachers and he played first base in grade school.

At least with Brian we get to hear about every major leaguer from the state of Texas.

Right, but reply in the NFL wouldn't need to take that long. Big 10 reviews usually take less than 30 seconds.

No way I believe that, you have to function in resetting the ball and players etc too. Plus they review every single touchdown when there is no need

True, the XBH department is more concerning to me with Morgan than the RBI thing.

A-Ram has had a solid stretch all month though: .214/.264/.381 in April, and .261/.349/.446 in May coming into tonight. Add in the homer, and he's setting up for a really solid June.

That would be pretty epic
