I sure hope we get the GOOD "Wolfie" today, and not the one that is painful to watch... The last two times he has pitched, I have had it on in the background but didn't pay a lot of attention to it on purpose. Just hate to watch his games. I think I will stick with that plan.

Thanks FOX. I get the Dodgers and Angels (with no Vin Scully) today. I guess its a Uecker kinda day.

6 "national" games tonight. What a joke. I usually only use it to watch the Brewers, but the fact that 40% of today's games will be blacked out on mlb.tv is ridiculous (I guess that's what it's like to live in Iowa). I cannot believe that rule hasn't been changed. FOX and MLB are the worst.

What is the manager's logic here? Finally Gomez goes to the bottom of the order. Not that I think he should be starting but at least he is way down the order.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

If they're going to start Gomez vs. a RHP, he should be down in the order.

vs. a LHP, no problem with him batting higher.

I was thinking that last night's defense could have been the best that the Brewers have put out in many years. Only Aramis (and maybe Braun) seem to be below average.

He stinks as a hitter. He should never be near the top of the order.

^this

I am finding myself growing more and more irritated with his hot dog antics too. Making that catch tonight, then turning around as fast as he could and side arming the ball back to the infield with no one on base just looks stupid. (Odds are, he didn't know the bases were clear :laughing )

All his antics on the basepaths are wearing on me too.

If he was even an average hitter, I could see past this stuff, but he is a horrible hitter and base runner. Defense is the only thing keeping this guy on a MLB roster. He should only be entering games as a pinch runner (for speed purposes, not because he is a good base runner) or a late inning defensive replacement in my opinion.

He dragged his foot as he went by & might have even clipped it then. I guess it's karma from last night's game-ending double-play call with Ransom possibly being off the bag... ?

I am not sure he wasn't on the bag. I don't know about that call, you got to be 100% on that sort of call.

From that angle, I was wrong and the ump was right.

I'm OK with the Brewers not getting that call, so long as it's called that way 100% of the time in every other MLB game this season.

I'm completely sure that will be the case going forward.

Am I crazy or is Rock doing color for a national TV game.

He did at least one other national game earlier this season, too
