Yeah right. Instead of getting to them with one out, they get to them with two out. There's no defending k-rod at this point, nor it there a defense for Roenicke using him against contenders.

Roenicke is far too soft on veterans. He's supposed to be doing what's best for the team and not trying to salvage K-Rod's career. The trade ship sailed a long time ago.

I would suggest not getting bent out of shape over guys that won't be on the team next year...all they can do now is help our draft position.

KRod had a 2.64 ERA last year and 3.59 ERA on July 17th. The notion that using him is waving a white flag is being dramatic, to say the least. I don't have confidence in him right now either, but the aternatives aren't exactly inspiring either.
