I can't take Weeks' defense anymore. What a freaking bum. Can't catch, can't throw. That drop two plays ago was utterly ridiculous ... tee ball crap. Just get lost, Weeks. Trash.

Weeks should have 2 errors this inning. The catch wasn't an easy play, but it should have been made. He's the one guy on the team that you just know will drop it, though.

I just can't even stand to look at Rickie anymore. It's mind-boggling to see a 9 year veteran that still plays the game like he's a rookie.

That catch was an easy play. Your decent softball league 2B catches that ball.

Is this rock bottom for Rickie now?

Migod, when he's not hurt, he's hitting like Henry Blanco, now he can't even field the one lousy position he seems willing to play.

I know this is heresy at BF.net, but when Aramis and Corey return, I'd like to see the worst player in MLB get a chance at 2B, if Weeks still sucks/gets hurt - The YuniBomber.

Even Ueck sounds pissed: "Rickie'll tell ya, he should have caught that one...a gift run..." That's saying something.

"So if this fruit's a Brewer's fan, his ass gotta be from Wisconsin...(or Chicago)."

It's still one that any other player in the infield gets his glove under and you think "He got to it."

Weeks is the one player that you're watching make the play and thinking "He won't catch it."

anyone catch hoffman after weeks dropped the popup: "ouch"

he's not long for this league if he's truly regressed to avg to below avg hitter. his d has just been off the charts bad. reminds me of jeff kent late in his career.

Show some patience at the plate finishing up this game, guys. Volquez is known for control issues and this umpire has a tight zone.

Can't throw that ball, Rickie.

Questionable throw, no doubt. But it is possible to execute that throw without chucking it into the dirt with no prayer of being caught. That was like a Prince Fielder throw to the plate. Terrible.

We're getting chances to walk tonight, we're just not being patient.

Giving Carlos Gomez the green light on 3-0 is a pretty piss poor decision.

gonzalez and weeks are both awful. however, at least gonzalez is good defensively. if you are going to have a black hole in the lineup then at least play the guy that is solid defensively. there's nothing that weeks does right.

Like I said, he still plays the game like he's a rookie in all facets of the game. A freaking veteran in his 9th year and he still plays it like he's trying to learn how to play at this level.

Is simply baffling that he hasn't gotten a single day off during a time when he's killing the brewers at the plate and in the field?

He's basically hit about .100 for 15 games.

It's past midnight but I can't give up on this game. If they pull some miracle to win 10 in a row, I don't want to miss it.
