Well, it's that time of year again. With Spring Training just around the corner, it's time to start planning for this year's Brewerfan.net Winter Meeting!

 

What's the Winter Meeting? Simply an opportunity for people from this forum (along with any guests they choose to bring) to meet together, enjoy some camaraderie, maybe some food and beverages, and talk about baseball (and whatever else).

 

Last year, we met at Friday's at Miller Park on a Saturday night. In the past few years, we have alternated between Madison and Milwaukee. Event is typically scheduled for a Saturday in March.

 

Please chime in on this thread with your input, and if you would be interested in attending.

Welp, it's certainly wintry enough to think about a winter meeting. ;)

 

I can't speak for everyone who attended last year, but I thought meeting at the Miller Park Friday's worked really well. Of course, it helped that they kind of messed up our reservation and put us in their private room for free. We were able to actually converse without having to shout. At present, I'd expect two in the hawing party.

 

March 2014 has five Saturdays: the 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th. The Brewers have an exhibition game on March 29. March 15 is probably when any watering hole worth its salt is all ST PATRICK'S DAY.

 

Heat up the stove!

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

After missing last year, my wife and I would be interested in attending again.

 

Of course, with the weather, every waking minute may be taken up with re-scheduled sporting events so a lot will depend on the date that works for you guys.

Always wanted to go but never have been able to make it but I will try my best this year to go either in Milwaukee or Madison but looks like Fridays at Miller Park is perfect spot!!

 

Friday's is like a second home to me during the Arctic Tailgate in February every year so another yes vote for me for Friday's!! :)

The 22nd might be tough as that is the opening weekend of the NCAA Tourney.

I am fairly open, so post a date and I hope to make it. Depending, my be able to bring an ex-patriate Brewer fan from Siberia.

Anyone from Clan LaprilOne is a good addition to the winter meeting. :)

 

March 22 should be OK for the hawing household. It falls during UW-Madison's spring break, so there is a slim chance I'd have to work until 5 and not be able to leave Madison until after.

All right guys. Let's plan on March 22nd at 7 PM at Friday's at Miller Park. I will call as soon as I have time to make reservations.

 

If you haven't responded in this thread yet and are going to plan on coming, please reply in this thread to help give me a rough head count.
