If I were an opposing batter I am taking at least two pitches on KRod every single time. He's falling behind hitters and than grooves one in the zone seemingly every leadoff batter he faces in the ninth.

Yes, but the strike zone was the size of California in the first half of the game, and then suddenly shrunk.
