That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

In the photo above, Chase is wearing pink in honor of his late father, who loved that color. All of the clothes were his dad's, and this is what he wears before all home starts.

He says, "If the pants and shirt last that long, I'll keep doing it for the rest of my career. The socks are wearing out a little bit."

Chase Anderson honors father before each home start

Arizona Diamondbacks' Chase Anderson remembers dad by literally walking in his shoes

Hopefully he gets a hit tonight or he'll be back on the bench tomorrow.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Who is the guy in the Brewers marketing department that approved Christian rock for the Brewers intro music as they take the field?

"Jeeeeeeesuuuuuus, you are the waaaaay!"

Woo yeah! Let's play baseball!!

Maybe the front office is rebuilding too...

Chase Anderson picked that song; it's played before his starts.

Just to say safe with Fan Forum Etiquette, let's accept the song as a fact rather than using it as a subject for debate.

My God, Anderson has been bad lately. They better get the shuttle between Milwaukee and Colorado Springs warmed up; the bullpen's arms are going to fall off.

It's an error now.

Look at the batting averages on our 6-8. Walsh Hill Flores. Playing those three is NOT rebuilding.

Other than Hill, how isn't it?

Flores is a never was and we have a better option in Reed. Walsh at best clearly isn't ready to play, and more likely just isn't very good.

If we had a bunch of young, talented guys ready to be MLB regulars we wouldn't be rebuilding, we'd be on the verge of contending. This is what the start of a rebuild looks like...it's ugly.

Home run derby tonight

This team is going to give the 2002 Brewers a run for their money. We are that bad.

Probably. I had them pegged at 62-100 prior to the season, but I also assumed our rotation would be decent and Luc would be gone.

By playing guys that aren't going to be meaningful parts of the future other than Nelson, Santana, and maybe Jeffries, the MLB team is tanking, not rebuilding.

The plan is working.

This team is not going to lose 106 games...or even close to that unless we trade Lucroy/Braun and trot out the worst offense in history. We have pitchers with 7+ERAs and that isn't going to last. We are not well over 100 losses bad.

The team has an ERA of 5.60 and a team batting average of 225.

They are on pace for 100 losses and that's with Luc and a healthy Braun.

106 losses is a special kind of horrible, and even I'm not going there but don't count these guys out just yet.

And that ERA is going to go down because guys aren't going to sustain 7+ERAs all year nor are we going to trot out Hill/Flores if they continue to hit sub .200. Those things just aren't going to continue.

I think his point to some extent is don't be a prisoner to the moment. Easy to be reactionary towards this team over the last week because of how bad they have been. The pitching while not good, will get better. The hitters, the same. It's baseball. It all evens out eventually.
