You're right, I thought I remembered seeing a couple years ago that Derek Lowe was the first one to do it since 2002, but after looking it up, that was actually shutouts without a strikeout, which is obviously much more rare.

Not that rare, last season it happened 9 times. Last Brewer was Kyle Lohse on July 8 2013

The Brewers as a franchise have 18 complete game efforts with 0 Ks. Augie1 (Jerry) has 3, including this interesting 1-0 10 inning complete game shutout with no Ks. The franchise leader is Mike Caldwell with 7.

 

The last such Brewer game was Cal Eldred in 1994

I watched the replay of this. Ichiro was picking the ball up out in medium left field before Walsh even rounded 3rd base. I know Ichiro is like 63 years old, but he can still throw. The game is now 11-1. I know you never stop trying to score, but good lord. At 11 - 1, why even take the risk of getting a guy thrown out at the plate?
