Just noticed that both my Midwest and South regions on my bracket are 100% correct. Might have to frame it if it stays perfect all the way through.

I tend to agree with Fondy, I expect Baylor to take care of South Carolina fairly easily. However, I like Florida more than most and think they beat Wisconsin and make a run at the national title.

Of the half dozen times I've seen Baylor, they haven't easily beaten anyone. The also seem to never cover when I pick them. I think South Carolina's D shuts them down. Baylor just isn't that good.

So far Baylor is down 17. As I said before, if South Carolina wins this game, I can't fathom them not making it to next weekend. Their D is amazing, and that feeds their offense.

I say this every...gosh dang...mother lovin..year. The Wisconsin Badgers do not know or seemingly the coaching staff doesn't care to teach them how to defend the 3. They stand two feet inside the 3pt line and give it to them every possession. This team will die by the 3 again this year.

Or they jump out there and foul. Unreal. What is so hard about staying in their hip pocket no matter where they are on the floor? Zone D is worthless.

Florida looks like a smart, well-coached team. Excellent on the defensive end as advertised. The Badgers lost focus a few times on the offensive end, they need to move the ball and get open shots.

The Badgers are definitely not the more athletic team on the court tonight. We'll see what those seniors have left in the tank to finish this one.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

wow, this is a surprising game. I haven't seen much from Florida, but they look like a talented team with a little bit of everything in their arsenal

Holy cow showalter!
Remember what Yoda said:

I firmly believe that all coaches that don't foul with under 15 seconds and up 3 should be threatened with firing.

It's been shown that they'll call flagrants in this tournament. You give up two points and possession if you foul someone without the ball, and if you foul the guy with the ball, you're risking someone flipping the ball at the basket and giving them three shots at the line.

15 seconds is too much. General rule is 10 seconds and preferably more like 7 seconds. 4 seconds though and no foul? Total gift to Wisconsin.

such brutal officiating in OT. I haven't seen one foul on Florida and I think they've called 4 or 5!

So just because Florida hasn't fouled it is bad officiating. Seems like it has been called well. They actually called a foul on Florida and is was questionable.

I'm slightly comforted by the fact that they had no business winning that game.

Well, when you're up by two with 4 seconds to go in overtime, they kinda did, didn't they?

Might be referring to the horrible free throw shooting, turnovers, and extremely early foul trouble. Though by the end of the game it evened out and Florida wasn't looking much better in those areas.

What a senior class. I'm sure people will whine and complain because like Packers fans, Badgers fans have been spoiled. What a tremendously hard working group of players who never seem to give up. They come up huge in a lot of situations and tonight just wasn't theirs. Hats off to Florida for making just one more play.

That is precisely why people won't complain. Unlike the Badgers the Packers lose in embarrassing fashion. They were really bad there for a stretch tonight (IMO let the foot off the gas), but these kids never gave up and fought more this season than i've seen a team fight in a long time.

This one hurts...all because of 4 seconds of terrible defense on an inbounds pass. This class will be one to remember for a long time.

On a side note, PLEASE Gard and staff fix Ethan Happ's free throw shooting before next year...I will need to gouge my eyes out if I see that hideous 49% shot again.

I'm not going to whine and complain. I'm already over it. But can fans of team that hasn't won an NCAA championship in 75 years really be spoiled?

wow, great run for the Badgers. I really despise them, but I know that no lead is safe with under 2 minutes left. They are always the epitome of clutch, regardless of who is on the team. Kind of amazing that someone out-Wisconsin'd Wisconsin.

No fouling up three was obviously a mistake. And Tplush, not saying the foul has to happen at 15 secs, but saying that with under 15 in that scenario, I'm looking for a spot to foul that is not going to put the guy on the line for 3. In OT, I'd have been tempted to take a Valvano-like approach on Wisconsin's last possession and foul Hayes with more than 4 seconds left to put him on the line, preserving enough time to ensure a Florida last shot. Instead the refs didn't catch Hayes' travel and called a foul, where he nailed the two shots.

Great effort though. Didn't think Florida had a chance to end Bucky's run.

Also, loving that there's a Jesuit school in the Final Four!!!!

Yes. Yes they can.

Maybe not Duke or North Carolina spoiler but we definitely have been as of late.
