No matter how the season finishes out I have to give major props to what Hastings and the squad has done in less than a year.

Wisconsin will likely finish second in the nation in mens college hockey attendance and if they would have had the same number of home games as North Dakota they likely would have finished first.

And the Wisconsin women will once again lead the nation in attendance.

Somewhat off-topic, I watched the first ten minutes of the girls title game out of curiosity, then went about my Saturday.  I check the box score to find multiple misconducts and disqualifications at the end.  Anyone have inside scoop?  A big catfight break out?

Slow start for UW giving up a PP goal. But they came right back with the equalizer and finished the period playing with better energy. 1-1

They’ve given up some pretty good looks to the Bucknuts so far tonight. Need to tighten that up a bit

Scholls has been really shaky so far.

Far too many turnovers in their own zone.

Not sure I've seen these guys this reluctant to shoot when they had a chance this year.

Seems like they’ve not really let it loose much at all yet tonight. Kind of played tight all game

Have to give Ohio State credit they played pretty good defense and got their sticks and bodies on a lot of passes.

We just don't have enough goal scoring to cover where one mistake in the third period ends up costing them games.

Hopefully tonight we can get some guys going.

Fitzgerald and Finley are the ones that really have to start producing.
