The stated first-pitch time of 6:07 CDT is likely to be pushed back by Toronto's opening day festivities.

Broxton with a blast. No doubter on that one!
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Shaw continues to smack it around and Santana hits it where they aint. Well sort of. 2-0!

Shaw misses a HR by 5 feet, lets knock him in

Ha! The Blue Jays announcers said Pillar missed an out by 6 inches.

Trivia:

The Blue Jays are the only AL team to win the Cy Young Award in 3 straight seasons. Can you name the winners?

I have no clue and I think my guess was Montreal related now that I think of it. I'll throw David Cone, Pat Hentgen, Roger Clemens?

Peralta got nasty after that mistake to Tulo, also think he got away with a hanging slider to Martin but nice work limiting the damage.

You technically got it, Hentgen 96, Clemens 97 and 98. Nice pull on Pat Hentgen

Nice! I thought of Hentgen first at least as a Blue Jay. I had Cliff Lee in my head, but checking it was Roy Holladay I was trying to think of.
