Could have used some of this yesterday Braun/Shaw.

Could have used Garza to not stink as well.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Not to disrespect the white wristbands with this question, but is Woodruff getting squeezed as bad as it looks on Gameday? Pitches 1 and 5 show up as strikes.

So...... Garza is left in yesterday to get absolutely shelled, Woodruff is pulled at the first sign of trouble?

Is Woodruff hurt or something?

I'm sure they are trying to limit him to some extent. It also wasn't his first sign of trouble.

Hader just comes in and you know, does his job again. Love the kid. Will be fun to watch.

Here is where the game will be lost and blamed on the pen but for the most part it's because our offense pretty much always stops scoring. No tack on runs. Nothing.

When you have a 2 run lead in the 7th you should win. Whether its 5 to 3 or 2 to 0 or 7 to 5, most of the time, you should win. If you dont, it is because the pen blew it.

Even though he was throwing pretty well, I didn't like Hader leading off the 7th inning. If his spot comes up with two outs, fine, but not to leadoff an inning late in the game when you're just going to pull him two hitters into the bottom half. Would rather just give Barnes a clean inning to start off with with at least the two run lead but whatevs.

"We're back with a BIG story. Denard Span hit an inside-the-park-homerun tonight!" -- talk about a letdown after that intro to the segment.

Well, you can never accuse Perez of not protecting the plate with 2 strikes.

He's agressive just like you like it. lol :laughing

The offense is putrid and the reason they won't find a playoff spot.

Just getting to strike 2 is a feat for Hernan. Just means he hasn't hit the ball between the lines in his first two hacks.

Yes!
