2017-09-02: Nationals (Scherzer) at Brewers (Woodruff) 6:10 PM CDT [Brewers lose, 3-2]

[markedman5]

Standing O for Woodruff.......I'm sure he's done.....what an effort

[pacopete4]

Woodruff has just been so fun.

[PinaMadness]

Hader not so dominant tonight.

[markedman5]

Damn

[jerichoholicninja]

Well this has turned lovely quickly.

[MoreTrife]

Just ambushed first pitch. Don't blame hader.

[jerichoholicninja]

After dominating them with fastballs last night you've got to think the hitters are going up there thinking fastball. So he and Vogt need to be smarter than throwing a meatball fastball down the middle first pitch.

[jerichoholicninja]

Well fudge this game.

[MoreTrife]

Well that ones on hader.

[markedman5]

I guess back to back outings a bit much for Hader

[DuWayne Steurer]

This is the byproduct of having no other reliable relievers besides Hader and Knebel.

Swarzack says hi.

[Baldkin]

At the game.

Turned ugly quick. Hader once again completely missing his spots. Instead of balls, they were middle, middle.

[MrTPlush]

Well that ones on hader.

Umm Hader threw the pitch...how is it not his fault he quite possibly blew the game?

[DuWayne Steurer]

I mean... Broxton could have done that.

[yfinn6]

No duh moment: important for Hughes to keep it at 1 and give them a chance in the 9th. Edited September 3, 2017 by yfinn6

Stinks to blow this one. Really does. Biproduct of a lousy offense that just hasn't shown up much since before the all-star break. Time for them to come through and win one for this pitching staff that has been busting their butts to keep us in this race.

[adambr2]

Broxton has 20 HR this year and walked last time up, and he's had a hot August. Is it really necessary to replace him in 1 run games at the plate like he's a pitcher?

Really, the offense is just making up for all the games we should have won earlier this year but the bullpen blew.

[trwi7]

Gonna laugh so hard if Counsell doesn't pinch hit for Perez.

[MoreTrife]

What are the Brewers, 1-50 when losing after 7th?

[PinaMadness]

Didn't understand the huge ovation for Braun.

[DuWayne Steurer]

Why??

[PinaMadness]

CC obviously trying to tie it with the heavy hitters.

[adambr2]

Braun is just absolutely useless right now.
