Anyone watch on MLB.TV and about to lose their mind because of the endless "Play Ball" ads during every timeout? They could not possibly be more annoying.

Does this mean Albers is the closer?

Would CC have thrown Knebel out there in the 9th? That's a CC move, correct??

Let me clarify... Pitching his closer in the 9th in a tied home game is a CC move, right??

In a tie game, at home, you can't get a save, so you throw your closer in the 9th, so says Buck Showalter

We need to score soon. We are running out of relievers not named Drake.

I'm sort of curious to see whether Counsell would dare trust Houser before Drake. I'm guessing no.

If Drake has to face Bryant, it's over.

Why not pitch your "closer" in the 9th? A close game and you don't want them to score. No reason to save him...

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."
