Toffey ranked as #19 in the Oakland farm system by MLB Pipeline. Wahl is a reliever, and wasn't ranked in the Top 25. However, he's been awesome at AAA this year.

The $1M International bonus slot will give the Mets another shot at a prospect.

Not a big haul for the Mets.

Not that big, but I guess a comp from us would be something like Stokes+Nick Ramirez. Not sure I'd be all that thrilled about that for a reliever rental.

That's a pretty good comp, and I wouldn't be that thrilled about it for a reliever rental... because the Brewers don't need relievers.

But for one of the better SS in the game, I'd part with Stokes + Ramirez. Eh... maybe more like Stokes + Lopez.

From Ken Rosenthal...

Rival exec on Familia return: “We are somewhere in middle on it. While we don’t love either guy, it’s not terrible for a rental. Do wonder about timing. Value doesn’t seem compelling enough to jump 10 days before deadline, especially with one of few true backend RPs on market.”
