Having the Pirates get Archer would suck. We would have to face him for the next three years. That's why I don't necessarily believe the Pirates are in the lead because maybe that is being leaked to get Stearns to up their offer?

 

Or maybe thats just what I want to believe

I don't care about the cost. I'd rather stand pat. I don't think Harvey adds anything to this team, so why give up anything?

Right now they are saying Braves lead to get Gausman, and Pirates lead to get Archer...and our consolation prize is Matt Harvey..

Not excited by the prospect of landing Harvey. Archer is #1 for me and Gausman #2.
