2018-10-01 (Game 163): Brewers (Chacín) at Cubs (Quintana) 12:05 PM CDT [Brewers win 3-1; 2018 NL Central Champs!]

[adambr2]

That was uh, not a good swing Erik.

[wildcat83]

I'm not gonna mock him with a 1-0 lead. Too much can go wrong.

LOL

Arcia having a nice day at the plate.

[pacopete4]

Arcia. Classic stuff!

[WinkelsasVsSoriano]

Arcia showing up!

[MrTPlush]

ARCIA!? OMG!

[topper09er]

Nice that we have the most valuable SS today

[yfinn6]

I called Arcia a bum the other day. Since then he's at least 3-3. You're welcome.

[Fear The Chorizo]

Chacin also having a nice day at the plate

[Ron Robinsons Beard]

Nice work on the bunt. Have the Brewers had a pitcher get two sac bunts in the same game all season? Edited October 1, 2018 by Joey Meyer Bombs

[MrTPlush]

The way the Cubs are hitting today a second run is MASSIVE.

[adambr2]

It's nice when you can have your pitcher make productive outs and not just be for nothing.

[YelichPosse]

I'm not gonna mock him with a 1-0 lead. Too much can go wrong.

sorry my brewer goggles are on way too tight today. lol. this brings me back to being a kid seeing robin yount go for 3,000 and that exciting 1992 team that just quite didnt have enough gas to catch up to TOR

[YelichPosse]

i said it when the lineups came out, about arcia... i'd love to be SOOOOOOO RIGHT about it!

[dlk9s]

DFA Cain

[yfinn6]

Eww.

[adambr2]

1 run isn't going to likely win this. Got to start cashing more of these in.

[IntentionalHBP]

That was anti climatic

[YelichPosse]

Cain... come on today man!! lol.

[OldSchoolSnapper]

Only thing about that Arcia hit is that in ensures Yelich's HR is solo.

[Fear The Chorizo]

dang it LO...got under a tough pitch there

[OldSchoolSnapper]

1 run isn't going to likely win this. Got to start cashing more of these in.

Probably not, though it would be a fitting end.

[pacopete4]

I mentioned it yesterday but Cain is headed in the wrong direction all of a sudden. Need him to start going again.

[folly412]

Two first pitch outs for Cain.

[dlk9s]

I'm not gonna mock him with a 1-0 lead. Too much can go wrong.

Man, Yount hitting 3,000 was so awesome. I was in high school. I still remember him needing three hits in a three-game homestand to get to 3,000 and the games were all school nights, IIRC. My dad told my brother and I that we were going to all three, school night be damned. My mom waited for the third game, which couldn't have been better timing.
