Hypothetically speaking...

 

If the Brewers end the regular season with the same record as the Cardinals AND the Nationals (tied for division and first wild card), I realize we get two chances to win a game to advance to NLDS.

 

Question: If we lost game 163 to the Cardinals, would we still get to host the Wild Card game vs the Nationals or since game 163 counts in the regular season standings, would we have to travel to Washington for the Wild Card game?

Losing 163 doesn't count as far as finishing worse than the Nationals. We'd still host them if tied after 162.

The tribe loss last night hurts. They could be eliminated tonight with a loss and a Rays win. For the first time in 8 games the Nats will have a little competition, so that should be interesting. Go Tribe!
