Muncy has impressive reverse splits. Career .949 OPS versus southpaws.

Yeah but only 118 career ABs vs lefties.

And 10 home runs in those ABs. Maybe it’s just an anomaly, but he’s been really good versus lefties thus far.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

I’m just pleased he didn’t get #11 tonight

I don’t think Josh is trying to locate all of these pitches so far up and in. Seems like he is struggling a bit with his command.

Agreed! I cringed as I typed it thinking how painful watching #11 would prove.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

The good news is Hader got out of that seriously scary bases loaded jam.

The bad news is he has thrown 32 pitches with another inning to go.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Hader gave up more baserunners in one inning than he did in his previous 7 2/3. Says something about how dominant he has been to start the season.

Both Albers and Hader threw sick offspeed pitches to end innings tonight.

I thought Albers just threw a 2 seamer right down the middle

Wow what a K. Given that Hader can’t pitch tomorrow already, I’d be tempted to let him close this thing out

Then again, he hasn’t looked sharp

I think he pitches the 9th, but this pitch count means he’s done for the series.

Suppose a crooked number here would be too much to ask for?

As I type that pat from CC may mean he’s done.

CC has a big decision to make for the 9th...at least Bellinger leads off, so if he brings Wilson in it'll still be a 1 run game after he hits his 9th dong. 30+ pitches for Hader that inning, I don't know if April 12/13th is the time to overextend your unicorn.
