2019-07-05: Brewers (Davies) at Pirates (Brault) [Brewers win, 7-6 in 10 innings -- Bullpen blows 5-run lead in the 9th, offense answers in the 10th]

I hope this is finally the game that breaks out Aguilar. We really need him to step up.

Salad man!

[Brewcrewin07]

Okay get someone up in the pen Craig and save Hader.

[yourout]

That big fly is most welcome.

[bjkrautk]

I'd love to see Aguilar have a good weekend going into the AS break. A little confidence + mental reset could do wonders for his 2nd half.

[jjfanec]

Jesus and Arcia with some big hits tonight and huira on base three times. Good to see

[PinaMadness]

He really knocked the snot out of that one.

[wildcat83]

[sarcasm]Saladino heating up![/sarcasm]

[jjfanec]

Only if they score more. It is still just a three run game with bell leading off

[jason21nl]

Come on Saladino the 3rd baseman has a wife and kids to worry about. That was a rocket

[adambr2]

When I was Coaching an Amateur team a few years ago

His other problem is, he worries too much about playing match ups and puts Aguilar in against LHP's(like tonight). Sometimes you have to ignore the splits and just run your best hitters out there regardless of match up. Aguilar should never be in the LU ahead of Thames even against a LHP. Thames is a better hitter...period. You're just giving up outs that way.

Bad call, skip.

[ecjimg]

This guy is the Pirates version of Wilkerson. No success in the majors.

[wildcat83]

Holy offense!!! We’re 5-6 more runs away from not having to keep Hader in.

[adambr2]

Pineapple!

[willie key]

I have a feeling this pitcher isn’t long for the majors.

Pina and Aguilar. Ha

[PinaMadness]

Call up Frietas before it's too late!!!

[jason21nl]

Come on Cain. Tell the ump it got you

[DuWayne Steurer]

sunday lineup

[PinaMadness]

Let Hader go one more.

[adambr2]

I think you probably pull Hader now. If you let him go the distance, he's done til after the break. Edited July 6, 2019 by adambr2

[jjfanec]

Aguilar, Arcia, Pina all with home runs. Also all guys who brewer fans have been asking to have sent down and waived

[markedman5]

So the bats weren't dead......just in a coma......

[PinaMadness]

When things are at their worst, we can always rely on the Pirates to cure what ails us.

With the Pirates, it always seems like either we own them or they own us within a given season, and you never know which one will happen in a given season.

[PinaMadness]

Do you really trust anyone but Hader to go two?
