What’s crazy about hiura is he pulls his head out and he still can hit. I don’t know how many major league hitters don’t watch the ball hit the bat

I cant wait for the 3 batter per pitcher rule to go into effect

If anyone complains about that rule just make them watch this inning. What a joke.

Why is it a joke? The guy is doing what he thinks it takes to win a ballgame. He is failing at that thought, but I don't think it's a joke at all. It's baseball. Boring baseball, but baseball.

I think you made the point well enough.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

So many pitching changes. So many. Maddon can't quit being Maddon.

Joe must think if it works half the time why not? Keep the merry go round going.

Would anyone take Russell from the Cubs for Arcia?

Russell is a pile of garbage. Would rather not further enrich him.

With the 26th roster spot for Maddon to over-manage with the rule will be essential for keeping games under 5 hours.

[sarcasm]You can’t pitch your closer in a tied game.[/sarcasm]

I think it was jjfanec who said it last night and it's 100% true. Javier Baez is the worst good hitter in baseball. Swings at everything, never walks but he'll run into a bad pitch every once in a while.

I don't know if it's just me, but it sure seems like this team deals a ton of lead-off walks late in games. It's pretty frustrating.

Yep but crew rarely seems to draw any. Frustrating.
