Never thought I'd see the day. Vinnie Mac is stepping down as CEO amid scandle, and Stephanie is taking over in the interim. I always hoped it would be triple H and he was allowed to run the main roster like he did NXT. This is probably a good thing for the product, but its sad to see someone go that has grown the business as much as he did. Obviously when your daughter takes over for you, he will still be involved I would imagine though.

He will be on Smackdown tonight which will be must see TV.

I stand corrected, i did read an article this morning to that affect. I hardly see this as a punishment then, minus the shame associated with it.

I don't think there's any "punishment" involved here as they're only investigating whether or not he used corporate funds for hush money. If it's proved he didn't he may not get back his CEO job but I think it's certain he won't be giving up or be removed from any creative control.

Not that I'm complaining, but how come when I was a kid you had to cough up big bucks for any WWE pay-per-view, especially Wrestlemania, and now any chump with a 4.99 a month Peacock subscription can watch Live?

It helps that WWE is a big corporation now, still have to pay big bucks for AEW. I like it though because paid like $60 for ad free for the year in October and actually enjoy other stuff on Peacock.

Pay-per-view didn't sell advertising spots

This morning the WWE Vault YouTube channel posted the full Wrestlefest 1988 event from Milwaukee County Stadium.  What's funny is in the wide shots you can see the Cleveland logo on top of the home dugout from when they were filming Major League.

WWE doing their best to alienate me.  First, they move RAW to Netflix.  (Nope, not worth the additional cost.)  Now, they are moving all PLE's away from Peacock (which I paid $20/year for on a Black Friday promo) to ESPN's new streaming service... at $29.95/mo.

Current cable subscribers can gain full access to the new streaming service after being authorized by their cable provider, company executives said on Tuesday.

However, the company added, full authorization remains unavailable through select cable providers as ESPN resolves outstanding negotiations, meaning some cable subscribers will be unable to access content broadcast exclusively on the streaming service. Such content will be initially unavailable to customers of Comcast Xfinity, YouTube TV, Dish Network, Sling TV and Cox, the company said.

Of course, I have YouTube TV.  And "cable" here in Denver is xfinity. And if it's like YouTubeTV "negotiating" with MLB Network, two years later I still won't have access.

And what % of "cable" subscribers don't have one of those companies listed?  Like, 10%?

$30 a month is ridiculous for a streaming service. I subscribe annually to Peacock as it is reasonably priced, has decent programming and includes the PLE's but I can cut out WWE at that price.
