I have a feeling Jrue is going to start making Kyrie look silly in the 2nd half.

 

Not going to be much of a game left by then if they can't start finding the bottom of the net on some of these.

 

I mean, a 9 point lead can evaporate in a few minutes, but I just don't understand why we're settling for jumpers. Giannis letting Griffin sag off of him and taking a 15 footer is not good shot selection. He can take 33 year old Blake Griffin off the dribble 8 times out of 10. Stop taking low percentage shots.

So even if the shot comes after the buzzer, if the shooting foul occurred prior, the shot is considered off at the same time as the foul. Interesting, never knew that.

Continuation I have to believe. Refs must believe that the shot would have been off before the buzzer if it weren't for the foul.

I think it can be rationalized by assuming on a shooting foul the foul affects the timing of the shot, so if continuation is given you would time the foul and the shot simultaneously. But I am obviously biased on this one.

I mean it's a big break that Durant fouled him because we would have gotten 0 otherwise. But he clearly did and it was clearly before time expired.

You're right, I must have been looking down on the initial replay but they just showed it again and it's clear.
