the swelling in luis perdomo's elbow is subsiding slower than expected.

I'm looking forward to him being back with the big league club. Was producing and providing some length out of the back end of the bullpen. Definitely superior to guys like Chi Chi, Kelley, and even Suter....

yeah.  It was a small sample but Perdomo was pitching really well before he got hurt. It would be nice to get him back,

5.0 innings in five games thus far on luis perdomo's rehab assignment. six strikeouts, zero walks. opponents batting .235 against him.

not sure how long minor league rehab assignments can last under the new collective bargaining agreement, but under the previous one, it was 30 days for pitchers.
