Actually burnes gave up 3 in the first 4 innings or so.   I’d rather have an Alexander start.   He’s done better than that multiple times.   I apologize to jason

i do give props to burnes for trying to get us through 6-7 innings in a losing effort.   Save our bullpen to get maybe 2 out of the next 6 games with everyone saying that’s the best we can hope for and we are still in this thing

Exactly!  He's out there battling, "competing" as a coach used to offer as the highest compliment.

It will be interesting if that is on the table this off-season.    I wouldn’t want him to go but I could also understand it.    Sell high

Is it fair to say that no team in mlb has a weaker 2 3 4 in the lineup than the Brewers of teams still in the playoff picture?? Who's is worse?? Burnes did what he had to do. Limited the damage. But he knows that 3 runs ain't going to get it done with this lineup.

No.   I’m saying I’d rather have burnes start.   Where is he?   Instead after getting a lead he gives up homer than hit after hit to give it up right away  
 

but it really wasn’t much different than any of our other dudes. But to be fair he did eat up some innings after the damage was done.   Counsell wouldn’t let any of the other pitchers do that
