Game Thread (9/16/2022): Yankees (Montas) at Brewers (Houser) - 7:10 PM CDT

Seeing a lot of pitches is great but at some point you have to square one up.

[bulldogboy0733]

Mitchell has great speed. Wish he could drag a bunt in a spot like that.

[MoreTrife]

Was there a delay in this one?? Three hours in and it's in the sixth??

[bulldogboy0733]

Leadoff double and in Brewer fashion he hasn't moved. Ugh.

[wibadgers23]

Starting to get a little frustrated with Mitchell at this point. He had about 6 very hittable pitches in his last AB and fouled away all of them. Can we stop the shenanigans and call up Frelick or Wiemer?

[Brewcrew82]

Robots...He literally called two pitches in the same spot earlier in the at-bat balls....

[yourout]

Plate ump is making an excellent case for the automated zone.

[Brewcrew82]

Bang-up job by the home-plate ump tonight. Truly a masterpiece in sucking.

[bulldogboy0733]

Williams against the top of the order makes sense.

[willie key]

Bumgarner freaking terrible tonight.

I sure would have been scared crapless had Rogers been sent in to face Judge and Stanton.

[bulldogboy0733]

Do not hit into double play.

[willie key]

It’s amazing how bad mlb players fundamentals are on a bunt

its actually hilarious

[bulldogboy0733]

Fundamentals are non existent on this team.

[Pesky Johnny]

Brewers don't bunt.  Everyone knows it.

[yourout]

Thats not an error.

[yourout]

How do you miss that?

[bulldogboy0733]

How do umps get these calls wrong so often??

[willie key]

How is that throwover rule going to work.     I mean if you it throw it over twice the guy can basically take a huge lead

or they can throw it over as long as it’s an out?

[willie key]

Adames.   Just flatten the swing out and make contact

god

[willie key]

See.   Just make freaking contact.    Win games

Yes it's an error.....but certainly not an easy play.

[bulldogboy0733]

If the Brewers would have done what Adames just did they would be in first place, Just make contact.

[bulldogboy0733]

You hate to see it.
