Houser's year began and ended with going to arbitration and hearing from the Brewers why he doesn't deserve his money. Some guys are weak mentally like that and Houser has always come across that way.

Wong is absolute garbage at defense this year that option is definitely not being picked up.  His offense is just not good enough to be this bad at defense.  This is starting to become Weeks bad defensively.

I agree completely. But McCutchen is on the downside of his career. The Brewers don’t have a hell of a lot on the way from the minors in the near future, and we’re pretty strapped financially by the Yelich contract. 
 

Though he might be striking out with Joey Gallo frequency, of late (well…), it’s not long ago that Hiura was a top prospect in baseball. He has the skill set to be at least a positive offensive contributor. Of our options, he’s one that is at least controllable. I would hope that we give him consistent playing time to try and figure it out. He’s had some good runs, but it’s awfully hard to get in the zone when your playing time is spotty at best.
