You had to know that forcing Ashby into a start tonight was a desperation move because the bullpen has been stressed recently, and Burnes’ short start just made things worse. 
 

Fortunate to get out of that innings with no runs.

Adames is fire hot … batting avg over .240 for first time since April … he was hovering around .200 at the ASB (I believe) … Brewers are much better when he’s right at the plate
